Creating and maintaining a consistent, working seal between the door bottom and the sill is critical to door unit performance. Precise adjustment of the sill is required. In practice, this rarely happens. Z-Articulating Cap Sill. No adjustment required. Ever.

As the door closes, the lead bulb of the door bottom compresses the articulating cap down.

The cap remains compressed, engaging the front bulb.

The cap springs back up to engage both bulbs automatically for a tight seal.
